Hi! I’m interested in giving this a try. I’ve never made a quilted postcard. Any tips and suggestions are welcome!

Hi. I am wondering what you all use/prefer for forming the postcards. I've used a stiff center, which I dislike sewing on, but like the finished product and it held up well mailing. I've received several with alternatives that are lovely... and that seem much more fun to make. Since the challenge of postal services here in FL, USA, I have had to mail in regular envelop, as opposed to sending as a traditional post card. I guess I'm really asking: 1) does it matter for our purposes? 2) do you have preferences?
You can tell I have too much sitting-around-home time, hahah.
    Regards.

I don't think it matters. As long as there's 3 layers and quilted and edged. Only another few days and I'll put up who you will be posting to
