    Wow! I have never used Minky on a quilt and I may not for a while considering the stretch in the fabric. I will however consider it with a stabilizer which I find a good idea. Thanks for all the information. It will help me in the future.

    I’ve always used batting- we like warm heavy quilts- I love backing quilts with Minky! It quilts up beautifully. I quilt and bind.

    I have used Minky for baby quilts. To help with the stretch, I have backed the larger piece with a iron-on fusible interfacing. This allows me to free motion quilt on my domestic machine.

    I’m in Texas and don’t use batting in the middle if I’m using minkey or cuddles on the back,
