I love Elizabeth Hartman patterns too and hadn't seen this one. You did a fantastic job and the backing is perfect. Don't you just love it when you find the exact backing you had hoped for? I've made Fancy Forest for our grandson and bought the kit for the sea creatures for his brother's quilt. Since it is for his "big boy" bed and he is only 19 mos. old I have a little time. There are always sooo many pieces, but they do go together well and the end result, like yours, is amazing!

Cathy, what a super fun quilt…bright colors make for happy birds. Looks like a fun pattern and will make for a snuggly quilt for your nephew.

I love Elizabeth Hartman’s patterns - and this one is new to me (meaning I haven’t seen it - yet). The colors are beautiful. Thank you for the picture.

So pretty - and I like your tropical batik background as well!
And the quilt in your avatar!
