You all are making me hungry! We always have cheese, crackers, nuts, popcorn, and fresh fruit in the house. My father got a craving for cheese-whiz the other day (the one you spray out of a can). My local store doesn't carry it.... does it exist anymore? (yep, in a jar....) I did find some smoky kraft cheese in a jar and put that on some Ritz and he was happy. :-)

Spray cheese is called Easy Cheese. DH eats it, loves it on club crackers.

May I ask about the almond cream cheese? I've never heard of it. Do you buy it prepared or flavor it yourself? Sounds so good. Love cream cheese lots of ways.

Oh...you will love this cheese. Kite Hill Almond Cream Cheese is made out of finely ground almonds and inoculated with an actual cheese making starter. Most other vegan cheeses are not made this way. They're just made to taste like cheese. Kite Hill IS cheese. It comes in 3, or 4 different flavors, plain, green onion...etc. I like the plain the best. You can find it at Whole Foods and I can now buy it at Safeway/Vons/Albertsons. Fair warning, it is not cheap, but it's really good. I buy it every week and cut out something else that's less healthy to keep within my budget

Sounds really good tropit. I'm certain I won't be able to get that locally, but will look for it in a larger city. Thanks!

A hand full of Breton mini crackers spread with plain cream cheese and topped with a slice of Cowboy Candy!! Mmm hot and sweet at the same time. The cream cheese helps calm the heat just enough. That's my afternoon go to snack.

I wondered that too so I googled it. It's candied jalapenos. You can buy it, you can also make it.
