    Default Peach Sorbet

Today is going to be hot, so I'm making easy peach sorbet...no ice cream maker needed.

6 ripe peaches, peeled and diced
3/4 cup sugar, dissolved in 3/4 cup water
    teaspoon of lemon juice
    tiny pinch of salt

Freeze the peaches, remove peaches from freezer, put in a blender or food processor, add sugar water, lemon juice and salt. Blend until smooth. Pour it all into a loaf pan and freeze again until firm.

I don't understand how bought sorbet tastes so bland when the homemade with plain fruit is so tasty. Why do they mess it up? LOL

Comes in very handy! Our peach tree made enough for 7 jars of jam (because after those I lost interest) but I have a huge amount peeled and frozen in the freezer.
