Default Christmas presents

These are the quilts I'm giving tonight (hopefully the pictures load correctly). The quilts are starting to accumulate and they need to find homes. I've already made memory quilts for all of my siblings, so now I'm starting on the next generation and these will go to my niece and nephew. The one quilt is made with men's ties and I tied it instead of quilting because I wasn't sure how quilting would work out. The purple one looks like it has blue HST's in it, but it really is purple. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

Very creative! I've been collecting men's ties for quite a while in hopes of making a quilt. Yours is just perfect and inspiring.

Those ties make some pretty neat quilts - very colorful!

Both are beautiful quilts. You have a real eye for color.

Love them both. I was given a bunch of men's ties last summer and have been wondering what to do with them. I think I'll make a "string" quilt after seeing yours. Did you take them apart before cutting?
