Sorry I didn’t catch this request sooner. I needed to replace the ratchet wheel on my SR2 frame because I broke a tooth. That piece is the same one on the QZone queen frame. I looked at the manual for that and ordered that part and it fit perfect. The pole fits into this piece. Part# is QZF-05-10316. There is a good picture of it on their website. They may not tell you it fits since the SR2 is obsolete and they would like you to buy a new frame.

I just ordered the ratchet wheel for my Qzone queen frame. When we put the frame together, the ratchet wheel was already attached to the pole. I am wondering if there is an easy way to get the ratchet wheel removed from the pole. I removed the screw, but it seems pretty tight. Do you tap it out with a rubber mallet or what?

I just wiggled it a little and it came off… now the original ratchet has a square washer on the back of the screw that might be causing you grief. Just take a small screw driver and knock it out if the way.

Thanks for the help. I was able to super glue the piece back on my original ratchet and I think it will hold until the new one comes. We'll see.

I forgot to mention that when you get the new ratchet the screw has a captive square tap on it so you can knock the exiting one into the bar and don’t worry about fishing it out. I ordered 2… I figured if 1 was weakened other one prob was as well and who knows when they might discontinue them. I do not ratchet my wheels, I unlock them rotate my quilt and then lock them back into a tooth. I have a 9” brother 1500P so I roll a lot and I am afraid the plastic won’t take the abuse of a lot of ratcheting. Also I found adding a rubber washer on the knobs you tighten to raise and lower the bars puts a lot less stress on the hardware. Trying to tighten metal on metal takes more force. I wore out the low grade hardware and replaced it with grade 4 hardware which can take more abuse. I have to try to keep this frame alive as long as I can.

I just found a SR2+ frame for sale. It really looks alot like the QZone queen. Do you know what the primary differences are?
    TIA

QZone has adjustable legs so you can use sitting or standing. Carriage has rails for dual track wheels. Other than that they appear to be pretty much the same. I have had mine since 2016 and with a few minor fixes it has served me well. If you get the SR2 the carriage will most likely have a single wheel track. If you are using a domestic machine that won’t make a difference to you. I needed a new ratchet wheel and discovered the SR2 and QZone used the same one, it sure looks like the rest of the frame is the same also. If you get the SR2 let me know and I can tell you a few cheap easy fixes to make it easier to use.
