Default Anyone know any good deals

on batting? I used to buy a roll on Amazon but since 2020 it has doubled in price almost. I prefer cotton but may have to change...

I alternate looking on JoAnn's, Walmart and Amazon websites. It's amazing how often the prices change.

Hobby Lobby has 40% off all batting on the bolt/roll every other week. You can buy the whole bolt/roll.

    Warm & Natural Batting

5 stars out of 5 stars
    WAS:$14.99 NOW:$8.99 40% off All Fabric

I buy enough for a quilt every other week in store. I have a good stash of batting now. My favorite batting is Missouri Star brand. I buy a lot of that when it is on sale.

I use Marshall’s Dry Goods. Batting is on their wholesale site. Many widths and types. I have been using it for about 4 years and have been very happy with the quality. Comes as a large roll so no wrinkles to deal with.

I like bamboo/rayon batting. The last deal I found on it was at battingsupersale.com They send out emails with all their deals. Good service, too.

This is not batting, but I went to a fabric sale yesterday in NW AR and bought yardage for .50 a yard. Still in packages. This is a warehouse sale that sells Waverly. Unfortunately, they will be moving this sale to Houston. There are tons and tons of fabric there.

I used to buy by the roll from BattingSupply but lately I've been ordering sets of king size batting from them instead as I'm getting down to the wire on how many more extra large quilts I have on my agenda. I've now got 2 boxes each with 4 king size 80/20 battings of Quilter's Dream batting. I've cut what I had left on my roll for those quilts waiting to be quilted. I also scrap piece my batting for the smaller quilts like for dogs and cats. Anything smaller I use for embroidered blocks or to clean my frame rails and machine wheels so nothing seems to go to waste. Not at the prices they've gotten up to.

Totally agree, they have great sales and great service. They also sell Glide thread and some Superior threads plus fabric and notions.
