    Default Amish with a Twist

This is one of the Amish with a Twist patterns by Nancy Rink. I bought the kit when BluPrint was still in business. I prefer quilts that are squarish and this one was too long and narrow, so I added some more black background and the gold stripe to each side.

Your model (dog) helps show off your quilt as being extra beautiful and totally comfortable. Isn't it funny how they always show up when something new goes on a bed or on a floor? Their job is to model and inspect the project thoroughly.

Beautiful finish and as always your quilting is spectacular. Lets not forget the fine quilt inspector, too cute!

I love black backgrounds - they make all the colors pop. Your quilt is gorgeous! And what a sweet dog!

Seriously, this is a very beautiful quilt and I wish it were mine. Did you also do the quilting yourself or send it to a long-armer?
