I looked at the variations and honestly I prefer it the way it looks in the kit. It's outrageously gorgeous, just like Kaffe himself.
I usually don't make anything this wild but I just had to. This year was a big one for him. Have you seen his line "85 and Fabulous"? Omg, amazing.

So many quilts, so little time. I am likeing that seed packet quilt. Years ago, I think it was northcott? anyway, it was a series of all the state flowers. I collected them all intending to make a state flower quilt. Well, I think this would work! Now where did I stash them?
