​​​​​​Actually I don't even know why I have the table, we never eat there. But yes I would remove it if we did. I basically made it out of boredom.

Beautiful. It looks like quite a job to finish the edge. Can you tell me how you did it?

On my quilted tablecloth, we use hard, stiff rectangle placemats. Works great!

basically I glued my sandwich together. Then I cut the backing about 1/8th from the edges around. Then I take the back hexies sew it to the outer( wrong sides together. Then when it's all sewn, you sew it all to the backing, then quilt the whole thing. ( you tube was my friend, watched several on how to finish hexies).
