    Default Quilt Retreat

I'm leaving this morning to go on a quilt retreat! This retreat has been held for over 25 years in the same location. I don't know how many times I've attended but it's always such a nice weekend. It's so nice to go and see friends that you only see once a year. One of my besties and I are taking the same class. We'll be making a quilt from one of Deb Tucker's patterns. There's four of us staying in a suite together.
Maybe next week (or the next) I'll have a finished quilt to show!

I hope you have a great time and we will be looking for that quilt show and tell.

My guild has two retreats a year. The next one is two weeks away. I have the best time at retreats. I go to some that I don't know anyone and never feel left out.

I hope you have a great time. I'd love to attend some retreats but with my old dog and food problems, I haven't figured out how to accomplish that yet. Take pics so we can see what fun you have!

I went to my first retreat ever last fall and could barely wait until February for the second. Being at a retreat feeds my soul. These were both local but maybe one day I'll look for a retreat "away" and make it a vacation. The first time I went I didn't know anyone and the second time it seemed like I knew almost everybody! That's the power of quilting together.
