And one for SuzieQ.

After getting these all done, I got back to work on finishing up the sets for myself. Been working on sewing on sashing so they'll be ready for when I get the boom blocks. I'm loving all the blocks everyone has been making for me, they are going to look so good in the tops I have planned.

I love both of my blocks, Macybaby! They will add a lot to the quilt. Thank you so much!

Can't believe how many beautiful blocks were posted today! You all are knocking it right out of the park!

I went to a few estate sales today, this being the final and 50% off day for most of them. I found several vintage cotton sheets for backings... in great condition! I bought a beautiful old top too, with carefully pieced tulip blocks. And I bought a vintage granny square quilt in perfect condition. I bought it to cut up, but it's so perfect I don't think I can. Add that one to my collection!

My last BOOM block is for Reba. Since my first block was offset, I countered it. Hope you like them. All three blocks made me think of twirling.

Good morning, Boomers. Spring continues to spring around here. The deer are all loving the new growth on plants, even more than I do. Oh, well.

Thank you LogCabin for my block! I love the ballet slippers fabric. Loving all the new blocks that popped up. Great job, Boomers.

Speaking of ballet, our DGD did very well at the ballet! She was excited and sat on her Dad’s lap and chatted with him at times. She was the youngest attendee but was as respectful as you could hope. One crotchety woman sat in front of us and was not very nice but then she coughed throughout the performance which was more distracting than DGD. Phew, what a relief to have gotten through the whole thing without a serious hitch.
