Holiday Forest
This is the Holiday Forest pattern from Laundry Basket Quilts. I started it at a retreat earlier this year and just recently finished it. I did learn several things from this. First, cut the pinked edges off of a jelly roll before you start using it, grrrr! Second, be more patient about my stitch and flip. If I had, maybe so many of these points would not be cut off. Oh well, I took that learning to the next quilt and it came out better.

Be kind to yourself. the trees look just tine to me and to others who have commented. You learned new skills to be used in the future and that is always the benefit of a new adventure in quilting. Like particularly, that the quilt may be named "Holiday Forrest, it does not scream "Christmas" so it could be used for winter or as a gift for any "woodsy" person. Good work and be proud. Enjoy your finish and success.

I reiterate everyone's comments about perfection. The goal is to enjoy the process and strive for the best you can do at any given time. Your quilt looks fantastic and I love the different greens to replicate the actual forest. Looks like perfection to me.

I know it’s disappointing when you want or need perfect points. However, in this design they don’t need to be. In real life trees are so different. Most are rounded shape and not pointed at all, so I think it’s fine in this case. I love your forest you made and mine I live in.
