    Default Some Finishes

Here are two big lap quilts, finished for donation. The first is a scrappy Bargello, and the second is a sampler of leftover blocks from the Miss Daisy Quilt Along a couple of years ago.

You are an inspiration to using your scraps to make your scrappy Bargello. Was this a planned scrappy in the placement of your light and darks? It sure turned out so lovely.

Your left over blocks from a couple of years ago look so pretty framed by the sashing and cornerstones. Way to go giving your orphan blocks a home...and for taking your time and talents to make donation quilts.

Both quilts are so nice, but the red quilt is my favorite. It makes me want to dig out red fabric and sew!

Digging in the scraps and orphaons to bless others and to.... reduce the stash at the same time. Win, win for sure.

My favorite is the bargello, love the scrappyness of it. I have enough squares to make one....but not the patience.
