I love it, and maybe a narrow boarded. Penny

Thank You all for your input. I think you are right. I have to order the fabric to finish it up.

You will see pins stuck in it from hanging it up on the design board ... and probably a lot of strings ...LOL!

I will say this ... I will never make a quilt from this designer again!

It is supposed to be quilted now like it is. But... don't you think a narrow border first to finish the design off would look better?
Looking at the quilt, I'd be inclined to put a narrow border on...I agree with you that a border would finish the design off.

It is a gorgeous top, and good for you for figuring out how to fix the mistakes in the pattern. I agree with Marcia who said that some black all around would make it float. Then maybe a couple narrow borders if you want to finish it off.

I was watching the quilt show yesterday, when it was free, and learned that sometimes the person who writes up the pattern directions is not the person who made the quilt, or whose name is on the pattern. Maybe that's what happened here, but it's still no excuse.

I forgot to say - your piecing is so perfect, I thought I was looking at an EQ6 design at first. Wow! Good job!

I think a border of two would set off your beautiful quilt design even more--Love the pattern and the COLORS
