I quilt mostly in the evenings or weekends as I work outside the home. My most consistant time is Sunday Evenings as my husband is a pastor and on Sunday evenings he leads the College service. I stay home and sew!!!

Hi, Craftybear, I am new to the Quilter's Msg Bd and have been reading the threads and came across yours and thought I would offer my views. I quilt a lot! I am 70 years old and have been sewing for 60 years and quilting for 5 years. I have completed many quilts and have many tops unquilted and many UFOs. I like to get up early and am at the sewing machine by 7:00 am many mornings. I don't quilt at night because I just can't seem to get the lighting good enough. One of my machines is in front of a window so I get good natural light. The Juki is almost directly under an overhead light. I would quilt at night if I could see better. I also have a big screen TV and my computer in my sewing room/den. I haven't learned to paperpiece yet. Going to learn soon. I love to do raw edge fusible applique and make my own patterns. Hope this isn't to long will look for more threads from you. Keep Quilting.

i leave for work @ 6 am, usually not home until 530-600 pm, then its grandbabies time...
i usually try to get at least sunday afternoon in my studio (fancy phrase for sewing room), but the spring cleanup in my gardens is coming..then for a few weeks i don't get much done.
some weekends i pray for rain!
