    I think you should try to bring the purple out for the center block. Just lay a piece on top of that one to see if that strikes your fancy. It looks to me like you have done a wonderful job putting the block together,

    Love the block. Looks like you shopped at WalMart. I have the same fabric. I also got the blues, pinks, and purples.

    I had a hard time with it also. I practiced on some old scrap blocks, but it took me way longer than 10 mins. In the end I finally gave up b/c I wasn't happy with the results...
