I found it -- but is there such a thing as a perfect quilt? If it bothers you that much, perhaps you better fix it. I know that I've ripped entire garments apart and stitched again because I saw a tiny little mistake that no one else but me would notice.

Yes I would have her send it back.. even though they may not notice it, every time you see it, you won't notice all the beautiful work you have in it, you will only notice the mistake. but the top is absolutely beautiful!

That is certainly a hard question to answer. I found it quite obvious (because of the "reds" on point not being lined up). That then brings attention to the whole upper corner and other "errors" are then noticeable. I have never seen this pattern before so I can't tell how much work it is to fix it. But I'd recommend a fix - you will always know it is there and wonder who else sees it.
But, that being said, it is a beautiful quilt!!

I can see it. I say if it bothers you then call and fix it before it is quilted. Otherwise, you can say it was one of those things quilters do on "purpose" to make it unique. It will look good either way. If it was me, I would fix it otherwise it would bug me knowing there was a mistake.
