Thanks ladies for all the encouragement! I am trying to decide between two fabrics right now.

Welcome PamelaOry! We love newbies. Hope you have a blast doing your first boom.
I did a side swap with Kass last round and she did do something incredible with that particular fabric it's amazing what she can do with a single F8 I have no idea how she sees what she does.

I love blue and yellow and if this quilt was going to a different home that is probably what I would do. But for this couple just the blue and white is a perfect fit.

You know me sew well Sewbiz. I would take another go at that stripe or that swirly stripe next to it.

Ha ha... I remember your beautiful block, just didn't recognize the fabric. That's cuz it looks totally different when you get done with it!

I swapped mug rugs with Pamela this month and ladies her work is beautiful. A classic blocks that stand out to me is the Churn Dash.

Yep, I love churn dashes too. So simple and so elegant, straight or on point. Blocks don't have to be complicated to be beautiful.

We now have 21 people requesting the 3 month group and no new sign ups for the 2 month group. Everybody in the 2 month group is actually in the three month as well so if nobody has any serious objections, I’d like to switch to our two month group to a three month for this round only. It’s still a bit early to make that a firm change. I hope we do pull in a few more people, maybe more newbies. We love new folks on the swap as new people bring new ideas, new styles, and new energy. Then again our repeat Boomers are our real backbone. Let’s face it, we like every Boomer!
