You are so funny! I'll be laughing at that remark all afternoon. Include in your add " must know how to iron".

Is a sewing room like a lady's "man cave"? Do we go there to get away? Is there an unspoken message..."need time away from you so keep out"? Should we put a lazy boy and tv in there and bring them in? Just wondering because I don't have a sewing room. I just use the dining room and we eat in the kitchen which is big. I would loooovvvvve a sewing room tho.

In reply to onaemtenest, Our husbands can find ways of saying that they love us. My husband thanks me for Magic house. He say's " I open the draw and Magic I have clean clothes". He and I spend most of our free time together. He has his man cave and I have my sewing room ,Which he had built special for me! I sew before he gets up or after he goes to work. His cave is a great place to go when I am off with my aging parents or he needs time with his dad.
Ironing for her was a great way to show that he loved his wife. We do need to except that they show up love in many ways. And if we give them a chance they will surprise us. I love knowing that your husband of 45 years is still wonderful!
