That would be difficult as we live on the side of a mountain. My yard climbs up to the street and is mostly rocks with greenery growing around them. I don't even mow, just weed eat. I make sure it's full bright daylight when I take them out now, I have the gun and I stand by the bush. If they had been in their designated potty spot, I doubt it would have happened. I was groggy from lack of sleep and wasn't on my toes. I was only 6 feet from them though. That's how I was able to be in it's face before he could turn and run with Cisco. I also don't let DD potty them at all now. Today was the first day since it happened that they all did their business outside. YAY! That's the lake you can see in the left of the last photo.

D--n coyotes slink around cities, too. Like sewer rats and feral hogs they're becoming ubiquitous.

Poor little Cisco. :-(

isn't it strange how the same state can look so different in different parts? i lived in blytheville for 8 yrs or so as a kid. and it was flat, flat farm land. but your yard and house is nice looking. thx for sharing, that way we get to see the looks of others local. maybe should let you all see what the boonies of michigan looks like sometime. so glad your babies are fine. sure wish one of them were mine.
