I've added a new album to our gallery for your quilt photos: CLICK HERE
If I've missed anyone, send me a PM ... there were a couple of pictures that I couldn't link to for the album, I don't know why. I'll keep monitoring this thread for new finishes.
(I only include shots of completed tops, not individual blocks, or parts laid out together but not yet sewn together.)

here's my block for jolo, don't have embroidery capability on sewing machine but I remember how to do the old fashioned way. hope it will be fine for you, Jolo.

Jolo, are you strictly wanting just blues and greens or will other colors be okay? have an orphan red and white heart I can send if it will work in your quilt.

Bravo to those of you who are scrappy confident! I am not so much these came out great and are a terrific use for scraps. thinking a controlled color scrappy perhaps? what stunning quilts you all have made and all are so very different. there is a wonky turned block in one that stood out in my mind. but then there are the yellow stars and subtle prints that also said that would work on my bed. If you saw my scraps you would understand that I could make a couple of these! I have them all stacked neatly (thanks to my daughter of course) in color coordinated piles just waiting for me to use them. they always are there too about 12" inch tall stacks. no matter how many I use. there are more. think they grow in this house. cut a quilt and you will see how many you have afterwards that need a good use. this is a true thought. it even looks like a design I could quilt! yahoo!

Wow, so many beautiful tops! I love the variety of looks and layouts. You are all so creative!
I ran short of the fabric used in my stars. Did I think to do two-tone stars as I did in our mystery #4 or as did mamahen and cat-on-a-mac here? Noooooo! Or maybe different color stars as did PeginCo? Noooo! Or mixed fabrics as did monrise and Siodach? Nooooo! So I wound up with just plain squares in the middle. I wanted a twin-size so added more blocks and this is what I finished with.

Thanks, again, Judy. I really like this pattern (as I do the #4), and am looking forward to #9 in a couple of weeks!

Just think, only 10 more days to go until the next train pulls out of the station......I plan to be on that train, as I've only been on 1 other mystery train ride before. Thanks in advance Judy, for the next trip!

Evie,
Your quilt is awesome. Great selection of scraps. We must be on the same page, I used a teal green, too, with a deep peach color for the stars, a civil war print. I am hoping that I have enough fabric, without having to piece the sashing.

Such pretty quilts! Thank you, cat, for the gallery!
Mine is complete-until I return home mid-March. I would like to finish the stars with a piano key border-have never done one before! I didn't think to pack enough scraps for the borders, so I will finish when I get home to my stash!
Thanks so much, judy, for this great pattern! I am looking forward to following the next train ride....hmmmm....maybe I will have to find a LQS and sew along!
Colors are a little brighter than they appear-stars are white with tiny purple dots....
