DH Bought me Fabric - what to make with it??

I would make a "big quilt" like he seems to have in mind. If not for your bed....maybe for cuddling on the couch. He was sooo thoughtful, you will enjoy the quilt and always remember his effort. Enjoy!

Aquarius fabric!!
And, not only that, but he said, "I don't know how much yardage goes into a big quilt, but I got you 8 yards. Hope that's enough."

How about the Garden twist block using blues and greens for the lattice. Because it's a zodiac fabric the lattice will just look like cool lines. There a link in the list of questions. Just an idea since you asked.

I'd use it for backing. It's a nice size for that. Not sure I would like a bunch of water gods poking their pitchforks at me on the front of a quilt.
Mine got me 8 yards of Mentetieth wool tartan. It's sitting in a bin also waiting. But I think mine will wait til hell freezes over or pigs fly. lol

My thought exactly... sounds like you will have no problem having enough material... for sure you need to do some fussy cutting... gonna look great..

Think something simple that will show off the fussy cut pieces.

I'd do some fussy cutting for center blocks and go from there. IMHO, blues and greens and crisp white and possibly a touch of charcoal would make a great color scheme. Whatever you decide, I'd love to see your finished project. Thanks for sharing.
