The 4th of 5 Christmas Tree Skirts. They are for family this year as gifts. Not sure whether to say "open before Christmas" or not.

Even though i am retired I still continue to make part of my meals for the following week on the weekends. It's s much easier to have something ready in case I get caught up in 'me stuff' and loose track of time. G-son requested cupcake cone and am trying a new candy recipe to see if it will make nice gifts for Christmas. And, best of all, am hitting the craft room to cut out more blocks for the Christmas quilts for the g-kids. It will be a busy but fun "at home" weekend. Hope everyone has a terrific weekend.

Drat, I forgot. I need to get a door prize done for a dinner at church next Sunday. I want to do a pretty simple table topper. I've got the fabric, just need to do it.

And I need to get off here and work on the baby quilt due next Sunday too. Actually, I'll have to deliver it Friday or Saturday.,

I'm working on packing to go to the Bay Area in Calif. For two weeks to visit family and friends. Hopefully I will be able to baste 435 leaves for my Oopsie Daisy quilt.

We celebrate the feast of St. Nicholas on Dec. 6. That's the day folks get all the Christmasy stuff they need before Dec. 24 or 25.

Finish quilt. Takes guilt for laziness away.

I just finished a large quilt top so I think this weekend will be devoted to finishing up some Christmas presents. I have the grandkids done, but not my kids or in-laws.

I am thoroughly amazed at how much everyone on this great forum gets done and how fast you are at meeting deadlines with your projects. I think I must be very slow - it takes months for me to get a quilt top done.
