Your daughter did a wonderful job. I love it! Beautiful color choices! She should be very proud and I know you are so proud of her! Her mom is a very good teacher.

I am so impressed. She should be very proud of herself. Her skills are going to take her far! I don't have a daughter but I plan to teach my 9 year old second cousin to quilt/sew very soon.

That's a good question Jean, I sew professionaly, so I'm in the workroom all the time, she has been coming in and messing with fabric since she was about 2. She has been Embroidering and making dolls clothes for years. She won't let me teach her!! But she does watch and copy a lot!! The fabrics in the quilt were all her own, she has been buying them when we are out and about for a few years.

Thanks Skate, it IS a coincidence, my daughter used her own fabrics. My quilts tend to be multi coloured scrappy. The Bargello is fot a dear friend and is a colour scheme she wanted.
