The Indian told Mr. Big Shot that the camp site was over the mountains and they could stay the night with them. They were going to have a big feast and dancing and was invited to join them.

Marsye was so excited to be able to sell her quilts. She was also thinking about the Chief to dance with. Marsye is a wild lady!!!!!

Marsye found a dog along the trail that a guy traded for a quilt. She is so excited. She named the dog Buster! When she returns home she will have Buster help with the sheep.

She keeps thinking about all of her sheep back home and misses them. As soon as she returns home they need to get busy and get them sheared so she can start spinning the wool on her old spinning wheels (do you remember seeing her pictures of the old spinning wheels that she has) so she can make thread. She will weave the thread into yarn and then weave on her old weaving looms to make rugs.

Marsye is still trying to count to see how many sheep she has but has been a hard job. She is hoping Buster the dog can help her to get them in the barb wire fence area so she can count them.

Marsye also thinks of entering Buster into herding competitions.

But, Marsye decided to hold off for awhile to get back to her sheep. She had given one of her best quilts to the Indian Chief in thanks for the Indian's hospitality and he took her out on a sunset ride in return. At this point Marsye kinda forgot about poor ole Henry Ford she'd left behind and was enchanted by the handsome Chief and wanted to stay on at the camp for a few more days now.

Marsye is sad to leave the Chief behind but he promised her will see her again soon (Marsye sure likes the guys).

Marsye sold more of her lovely quilts to the Chief for some cooking pots so when she gets back home will be able to cook Indian food.

Back on the trail again with her new dog "Buster"

Marsye went into the old buildings and found some old furniture and cooking pots so she put them on the wagon to take home with her.

You will never guess what she found in the old trunks (old sugar sacks) so she will have fun making the old quilts.
