Marsye and Sue were watching the children play. Marsey said you know Sue we could do a quilt with women who fought in the Revolution War. We can start with Molly the pitcher. A little girl hold a picture, and then we can teach the children with our quilt.

But it is summer time, and the only really good use for this new quilt will be to use it on the ground for a big family picnic!!

So as they set down to eat. Sue showed them , Molly and began telling them how she ran back and forward to get water for the men to drink. Until she saw her husband shot in the arm. She rushed to his side. She, then, took over his position at the cannon, firing several rounds at the oncoming British forces. Her bravery and good aim earned the respect of other soldiers. They fought on with renewed enthusiasm, sending the British into retreat. Her action impressed General Washington, who commissioned her as "Sergeant Molly Pitcher". Oh, her real name? Molly Hays McCauley

**** HI Everyone, sorry I have been away from the computer this week, took hubby to ER on July 4th, on July 6th to Dr. and straight to hospital, he had surgery on Wed.

Hospital is 1 1/2 hours away from home!

(right arm staph infection, tears on rotary cup on right shoulder)

lots of paper work to do for him (We don't have Health Insurance)

I went to see him again on Friday and doing some better.

Please continue writing and posting pictures on this funny story, I sure miss all of you, I need to get to bed now)
