It started long before Marsye even arrived home. Sue had had some trouble with some quilts she was making, and she had decided to quit quilting.

Sue and her hubby had moved to Alaska as they heard about the gold mining and Sue has been making lovely quilts. She thought this would be a good opportunity that hubby could mine for gold while she made quilts for the ladies in town.

Sue is outside playing with daugther "Emma" and son "Peter".
Sue has been so busy now that the children are getting older and washing more clothes.

The kids are old enough now that they help mommy in the garden. They love this property as it has a creek, apple trees and lots of hills.

There is a small creek along the back of the property and Sue is always chasing after the kids as they love to play in the creek.

Sue just loves feeding the chickens. Yes she has names for all of them. The kids enjoy chasing the chickens.

Sue is a teacher and enjoys teaching the kids. She also cooks for them in the big pot. Since moving to Alaska alot of the men are mining for gold so Sue decided to start teaching the kids in the old country school.

Sue's husband " Mr. Jack Ripper" has been busy gathering the wood. .

Sue kicked off her shoes, stepped into the creek laughing and playing with her children. Waiting until she can grasp them by the hand leading them to the dry land. It was time to go home. She would not leave them their alone.

The kids cried and cried on the way back to the house as they were having fun in the creek. Peter had seen something jumping around in the creek and was trying to figure out what it was.

Sue explained to Peter that it was a frog swimming around with the fish.

Poor little Peter wanted to go back to the creek to see if he could find the frog but Sue said no you are going to get cleaned up as you are muddy and wet. Peter cried and went to bed.
