My only question is ..Why are you washing the quilts? I would be making him do it ( under supervision of course).

I sincerely understand that you enjoy showing your quilts like works of art and that these were probably not the quilts that were made to be used and abused. I have two teenage son's and understand where you are coming from. I hope that they were not damaged and that you can show them again soon. I can't tell you how many times I had to show the child what quilts and blankets he can use and what ones are like stories and masterpieces that will cause permanent grounding if he touches.

my boys would have known better...but then they have been around the quilts all their lives...they know they can or can not use...sorry you had to find that mess...

I'm sorry to hear that. We went camping this week and everyone slept with their quilts. They don't stay home. Get used all the time. I love it.

You must in form him of the value,your work and the respect both you and your quilts deserve. How else will he ever know?
