Love the name The Giving Tree. There is a children's book called "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein. It is the story of a little boy as he grows up and the tree that sees the events in the little boy's life. It is quite special.

Gives you a nice warm fuzzy feeling to give to things like this and Linus or anywhere the quilts go to the less fortunate .

Those are fine quilts. I know they will make a difference for someone.

I donate to a local charity that gives quilts to kids in out of home placement, usually immediately. I had a foster parent track me down and say that she'd recently had a boy come in from a meth lab house. The social workers burned everything he owned, due to health hazard. The first night absolutely all he had was a loaned pair of PJs, new sheets and my quilt. She said that I could not imagine how important that quilt was.

The quilts you donate show a child that someone knows and cares that he/she is alive.
