IT IS! They have a big square of cutting tables with about 10 cutters/clerks on the inside on sale day MORE. AND the notions wall :-o

But is it is NOT just for us quilters. Also for sewers and crafters (IMHO Joanns carries more crafting stuff). Just lots of stuff 'sewing/fabric' related.

The tip about comfortable shoes is good, it's HUGE!! I was almost overwhelmed the last time I was there. Enjoy!

I order from them all the time. One of these days I will get up there and have to visit, me and my credit card!

I went to Paducah in Kentucky and boy what an experience. It was so overwhelming, almost sensory overload but still managed to fill the cart. I would recommend that you have a couple of projects in mind to help you narrow down what you want. good luck and have fun.

I have been there once and they are full of stuff. I do most/all of my shopping there online. As they are always 25% off on line and run sales. I don't know how to help you, but most anything you need you can find there. Have fun.

Didn't know they were so huge, will have to check them out online again. Have looked before but not very seriously.

I remember when I went that they had quilt fabrics/cottons there that I had not seen any other place. It was so cool, but did wear me out and at that time I was about 5 years younger

If you are in North Vancouver up by Battle Ground or Ridgefield ... make time to go to COUNTRY MANOR Quilts ... it's off 179th Street I think. It looks like a farmers barn but once inside you will be amazed!!! It's one lady and her hubby helps ... so have patience :) don't remember seeing batiks there but I swear she has EVERYTHING else!!

Love that place along with Fabric Depot!
