Default here is what is on my design wall

On a whim, I cut these pieces last nite and put on my design wall and sewing together today. I hope to create some type of snowflakes to scatter across it before quilting.

I am working on that exact quilt. Have 9 more blocks to sew and then trim them to the same size. Of course, I started it two months ago, but can not work on just one thing. I also have a Storm At Sea (I think that is the name of it) laid out. My design board is an vinyl table cloth so that it can be "rolled" up and put away. I need to get this one out again to make sure I like the way it is laid out. This time need to take picture and see what everybody here says. Got to love the board.

The beginnings of Arkansas Crossroads - an overdue wedding present for the son of a good friend. I really disliked the first one I started so have begun anew
An unsewn block of Bricks to see if I liked it before I began cutting

Right now, all I have are a bunch of stars for a baby quilt that I'm designing for a Steelers fan. Not sure where I'm going with it yet.

I have a map of the world with 40 to 60 (I need to count them) "animals" that all need to be appliqued down. Oooo, even the continents... almost forgot them. It is a special request from my 14 year old grandson who is going to South Africa for a year. He helped me place the animals (I took the tucan out of greenland and a few other changes) but now EVERYTHING needs to be sewn down. It's all in place via light weight fusible.

In the meantime I've got 5 days left to finish two girl quilts before we go and visit. Mama is sick and the girls are a bit scared, I think. They need my "magic" quilts, which make one feel better because they are loaded with love.

I am so tempted to make that same quilt you are making, just love the wonky trees. On my design board is a panel with cats on it in very rich browns and golds, and options for sashing and boarders. I found some really cool material that was already cut in strips at a thrift shop that matches really well and will make a great border, but still struggling with the sashing. I look at it every day. Will I ever get it finished??
