    they are not nearly as rigid as stays, although that was my first thought as well. They are, indeed, for pressing and sewing bias strips.

    I have some just like them and that is what they are Bias bars!!!

    they are presser bars for different sizes of bias tape. you insert it into the bias tube to get the seam in the center and press.

    I agree they are bias bars , I too have a set but haven't used them as yet. I am a gadget person.
