What to do with this wool?
#13
Wool is one of my favorite things to work with. I have quite a stash and keep adding to it. I have made quite a few lq quilts with wool applique and love them. I would rather do wool applique then cotton any day. Maybe you just didn't have the right thread or patterns were too hard for a first time. Sorry you don't like it.

I agree with DJRustic. Wool applique is not the same as cotton applique. It is so much easier! You don't have to turn under any raw edges, just cut the pattern to size and stitch. It really is kind of fun and I never thought I would use the words fun and applique in the same sentence but there you go. Maybe you should try a small project and if you like it, you will have a use for all those wonderful wools you have worked so hard to get. If not, then pass them on to someone who would like them. No reason to beat yourself up about it. Just move on to something you really want to do. There is so much out there to chose from.

I'd cut it into strips and make hooked rugs. You need backing and some instructions but I love them.
But if you're not wanting it, please give all of us a chance at it here on QB. You have some beautiful pieces.
