Beautiful! I want to make one too but have a hard time picking out all of the fabrics needed. I have made Bargello place mats & a few smaller things but never a bigger quilt size. Great job on yours

I will be making more. I was amazed at how easy it really was. I think the secret is that with this pattern there was no matching of seams. Each row dropped down by 1/4" so no matching. I watched other people in the class struggle with their patterns that had seams that had to match. This was so much simpler.

I think the hardest part was picking the fabric. A friend and I spent all summer in 2014 picking those fabrics. But I think it was worth the time and effort we spent. The cutting wasn't really a problem.
