I bought myself a Cheryl Ann's portable design wall from Massdrop. Don't have the space for a regular design wall, so this was a good solution. Even my husband and son were impressed with it when we put it together.

I LOVE M & L. I didn't realize you lived that close to the store. Do you go to the Anaheim or Fountain Valley store? Me, the Anaheim store.

I bet we've probably both been there at the same time & didn't even know it.

My Christmas present to myself this year was Texas grapefruit and oranges ((the best!!)) and a French coffee press. I went really big last year so am scaling back this year.

My Christmas present to me is a pair of waterproof insulated boots so I can take my dog out for walks in the snow (if we ever get any this year). Wait! That's really a present for my dog isn't it?????? Oh well...

My resolution is to continue finishing UFOs and whittling down my fabric, thread and embellishments stash and also to quit coveting those modern sewing machines with 10" or more throats that wouldn't fit into my sewing space even if I could afford one LOL!

The sale of my house closed on Dec. 3rd so for an early Christmas present to myself and my BFF of 30 years I bought us each a Janome 500E embroidery machine. I probably should have bought a new(used) car as mine is about shot, but this is much more fun.

We replaced our old flatscreen TV that was a hand me down from someone else. It would SCREECH after you turned it on. I told my DH it had to go before I had a heart attack from the sound each morning. It arrived the day before Thanksgiving. Been nice and quiet since!

Being on vacation during the holidays...that is my gift to me.

I gift to me will be to set up a sewing room. Right now I'm on the kitchen table and have to constantly move things out of the way in order to sew. This comes in hand in hand with decluttering our house as a New Year's resolution. (I need to declutter to set up the room). The other thing *might* be to invest in some Procion dyes. I want to learn to dye fabric.
