    The quilt is adorable and I love what you did in the borders. I would just be sure to include instructions to dry on low temp.

    your quilt is beautiful too. can you drop her a note, or add it with the quilt. This way, at least she knows. She may not use it now, but in the future. Some people still treasure handmade things, and don't want to wash something like this all that often. Drop her a not, or a quick call.

    Tell your cousin that it is a wall hanging, not a quilt; also include laundering instructions. It is a beautiful quilt.
