For fun! One thing I am glad I did when I first got my long arm, was to take the second "practice piece" I did and bind it. I didn't want to. But my sister kept telling me to do it. It had a lot of strange quilting on it. Well, I did, then washed it and I still have it. It is not a masterpiece. I do use it as a dog blanket. But, it showed me how how quilting actually looks on a quilt and I was surprised at how my early attempts, looked fairly decent one the piece was bound and washed. Also, an early reminder of where I started.

I was surprised when you stated they charge for setup. I bought my longarm used from Nolting they delivered and did setup no charge.
