Not real thrilled with my work here, but it's my starting point. It can only get better, right?

Your block looks good to me, Ducky. I like your light blue background and the colors you've chosen. Looking forward to seeing more.

Ducky, that block is beautiful! I love your colors. The denim-like background you chose is a great backdrop to the applique.

Ducky, don't be so hard on yourself, there is nothing wrong with your block and it will look great in your quilt.

Ducky, I love your block! I think you did a fabulous job on it. Your fabric choices are "spot on" and the embroidery looks great too! Your quilt is gonna be so pretty!

Now put that piece on your fabric where it is marked and sew in place. on the back of your material make a slit at the back an cut it out sew you donīt have a build up of material. now just take out your paper shape. Works for me. Hope that helps

Great Lynnie, its so much easier this way, a friend showed me this method ages ago, but she used to machine around it, but it works good for needleturn.

    Hi everyone!

I have just spent the whole day at my first attempt to do needle turn applique. I am exhausted! Now to tackle the embroidery.....
I am not joining the JTGC, but practicing (cause I really need it)
