    I have some lovely Northcott fabric sold at Hobby Lobby that might work for the Hexies. It is called Earth Series. I have lots in all the colors they make. Never could figure out why the don't make red!
    If she used a Jelly Roll, The hexi must be very small don't you think?

    Looks like you are hooked on hexies! Great job--and wow! You really did a super job on your fussy cutting of the fabric to get the color and texture of true flowers.

    I got the center figured out. It is called a Hexagon Rose. there is a tutorial for it . It is in Russian and I don't see anyway to translate it. BUT there are lot of pictures and I think I can figure out how to do it. If you want to see it Google Hexagon Rose Tutorial. It is soooooooooooo pretty. I love this
