No sewing yet for me, life has gotten in the way. But I did leave some fresh bread, Boggle cookies and what is left of a Salmon loaf in the pub car. Tomorrow I should be able to sew!! FYI.. Boggle cookies are from the Johanna Fluke cookie mysteries.

Pbadder I just love the pinks.
I went with a halloween type theme, because I had an extra charm pack of boo crew.

Well I will jump in. If you could see the size of the scrap stacks I have you might fall over. I stack them by color and well they are about 2 feet high each stack. I just cut the 52 pieces.. omg it didn't even drop a stack by one inch! ahhh! I will be making lots and lots of scrappy if this is how slow the disappear. Emma, I think for every scrap I cut I made five more.. I do donate however the pieces say under 5" I cant work with that many scraps I would go nuts! I make a ton every single week. sigh.. its non ending isn't it? one never really gets rid of their scraps. our box is magically full all the time!

I went with fall black with fall leaves, browns with leaves, pumpkins and light rusts and golds with tiny tiny patterns. I now have yet to figure out what the side strip should be. I don't particularly want to go black.. maybe the darker leaf? will post pictures later on I am getting tired. Woke up at 3 thinking I might as well get this going and well there I was cutting in the dark rectangle after rectangle am I the only one who does this?

Brat, you're not alone! Thanks to someone else suggesting batiks, I got into my scraps of them. Had a bunch of charms cut, but not enough. Looked around & saw all the scraps from the last batik sitting on my ironing table waiting to be cut into & put into the scrap bins. I did come up with my 52 for this project, but I also greatly increased my bins! Worst of all, I'm not finished cutting those scraps up! Thanks Judy for making me clean up what i was putting off! Only thing is, I'm not finished! Hopefully I'll get those scraps tamed today & put away.
P.S. I've also been up since 3 a.m. working on this project, just took a break to feed GS breakfast!

Nancia, I DID miss the train! Not sure how it happened, but it's Sunday AM and I just realized, HEY! Where's the train?
At any rate, I will try to get caught up...guess after church and dinner, it will be the sewing room. This isn't the only place where I'm trying to catch up. Some days I do wonder how I worked and did all the other "stuff," too! See you in the sewing car!

Cindy...you & I were thinking alike! I did the same with my batiks & I will make a nice throw size with them. I have a ton of batik scraps & I'm sure it won't even make a dent but it will use alot with that size, I'm sure. I know that ALL my scraps just have fun multiplying while I'm sleeping!!! I am making cookies for guild tomorrow, so will cut & sew between batches...will deliver a batch to the train.
