I so agree, would be fun meeting some of those that you talk to or listen to, or learn from. I have learned so much from this quilting board that I kind of fell into by accident one day. Best thing I ever fell into.

Well I got the borders on finally but am still thinking I may add another wider one. I didn't have enough of the E fabric so used what I had left from A & C. I love it and plan to give it to my mum for Xmas if I get the quilting done in time.

Sunlitensmiles, Oh you are so right ("be careful what you wish for"). You folks in California are going through quite a crisis and between the drought, the fires and the earthquakes, I shouldn't complain about a little rain and a little gray. And at least you don't have to shovel rain.
I would sooo shovel snow right over to my favorite trees that are suffering in this drought......and 'watering' them with city water is not a great answer due to all the chemicals added....if I use faucet water on plants at all I let it sit in a bucket for a day first so some of the chemicals dissipate . Enjoy your four seasons !!!

Starting tomorrow you can come and get all the snow you want from me, or so the weather man says. Snow until Thursday, highs of 11 deg and below zero at night. I'm dreading it already..
