Pretty, pretty! How long is this ride? My youngest is on her way in from SanFrancisco Her favorite white wine is chilling & I'll put some out for you all. I know all about giving them roots & wings, but I hate that she is so-o far away.

Are you talking about the 4 1/2 squares? If so I knew I was missing something and I will have to go see what I can come up with....See I told you I was confused....

I guess it's all relative. I'd be thrilled if my kids lived across the country. Two of mine live on the other side of the world.

Thanks all. I've done all the Mysteries but 8 & 9 - I just don't do scrappy very easily - I like everything planned..lolo But since Judy put a size in for a table runner, I decided to join in again..I do enjoy her designs.

IF I am reading this correctly(and I sincerely hope so)

fabric 'A' is 4 1/2 inch square for each block.

fabric'B' is 4 1/2 by (min.) 20 inch strip for each block.

fabric 'C' is 2 1/2 by(min.) 20 inch strip sewn lengthwise to a 2 1/2 inch by WOF strip of background fabric for each block.

background fabric 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 squares (big stack of these) pale pencil mark on diagonal of the back side of fabric.

this is what I have....hope I understand it correctly this time....no print out this time, so going from computer screen and swearing that next time I will write it out in longhand and draw the pictures...low tech!!lol
