Kele, great pincushion you made,, love the flip flops. i love those type of button, the brand i mean, i have a zip lock baggie full of them, and try to buy a new one every couple of weeks or so. Lucky Susan. even got candy! can't wait to see what i get. Off to work on my hexes...again. I'm hooked on them. everyone, enjoy the day.

I did more yard sales today and didn't get anything much at all. I even went to one neighborhood on a golf course and didn't buy anything there. Then I went to 2 other neighborhood sales and I don't even think I spent $5. But I did see one of my craft guild members. The weather was perfect today. 70 and low humidity but that's not going to last as I did see some 87's for next week. It figures just when I have to babysit. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

I received the most wonderful package today from Pat (nhnative). I absolutely love the bird pincushion and beautiful beaded pins. She also made me a needlebook and zippered pouch with my favorite Laurel Burch fabric. And, she included a fabric panel of Laurel Burch cats and a pretty card! Boy, I really made out like a bandit!!! Thank you so much, Pat! Do we ever have some talented ladies on here or what?

Karen what a pretty package you got from Pat. The bird is a cutie sitting on top of the cushion. Such pretty fabrics, and goodies done in pretty fabrics. Pretty pins, and card. Pat you did a wonderful job.

Pat what a nice pc and nc you made for Karen. I'm in love with laurel birch fabrics. have a small pc, waiting for something good to do with it. That needlecase is awesome for sure. Nice pins also. they're fun to make.. thanks for the pictures.

After such a perfect day yesterday it's now starting to warm up again and by Tuesday 89. I had to go back to JoAnn's to see the magazine. It's Quiltmania 100th issue and it's on the cover. They are using it as a tablecloth. So far I only have 4 flowers done. Then I saw that the superstition is that if you start a quilt on a Friday you will never finish it. Of course I did and it was Friday the 13th besides.
