when i read other posts, and they mention small items or pin cushions i invite them to join our swap.

went to a craft show. hoping for ideas for christmas ornaments, none, just a bunch of jewelry, some food, and bags, lots of bags and purses. enough for everyone on the whole board.

It rained here all morning so I did a few yard sales and even went to a street wide one in Millionaire's Row in Akron. Just because their houses are expensive doesn't mean their stuff should be so high. I should have known better. It's even a little cool and I'm freezing in my basement.

I was on Pinterest and saw a yoyo quilt like the one I had started and forgot all about. I don't think I have all the flowers I'm going to need. Why do I always pick things that take a long time? Everyone have a great weekend

Sounds like some of you already have some cute chicken pincushions. I haven't started yet. I was busy most of the day today.

The weather here was nice today. We have had a lot of rain, but the temps were in the 70's today. 70's are my ideal temps.

Pat I know what you mean. Anytime I go to a yard sale if it's at a house that is high dollar, the prices for every little thing are too.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone.

Ladybug, what a great idea. now i just need to eat a whole box of oatmeal b4 the swap starts. i can't find a box for my chickie. I have a pantry full of empty boxes for this purpose. I guess i need to go to the dollar store again and buy some cheap tupperware for her to travel in.
I foolishly asked my dh the diff between a yard sale and an estate sale. the estate sale is more expensive. I mean, come on old used sheets for $20. I don't care if they're 500 thread ct. they are used!!!! they think coz their house cost 10 million, i should pay for their old sheets. I can drive around my condo complex and pick garbage for nothing and get good stuff, 'cept not sewing stuff.
Anyone wanna show off their chickie yet???
