Miriam told me Ashlea would like turquoise so the hard part was done for me. Olivia helped pick it. I usually bring her when I have questions on color. I think the fabric looks like a big piece of the actual stone.

Miriam,

I am so glad that Caleb was able to choosee an assistance animal for Ashlea. Assistance animals can be very helpful -- my son's former boss (before the boss retired), he and his wife raised and trained Golden Retrievers, and his wife was deeply involved with Project Pup, going to the hospitals and nursing homes in North Central Florida. The animals really do help. Ashlea has been a miracle herself, with the recovery she has made. I am very happy for all of you. May God Bless. Never understimate the power of prayer!

Rodney,

The turquoise will really makes the blocks "pop". Wait until you put one of the blocks I sent next to the sashing. That block makes you almost need sunglasses! LOL. But, we all love color! Great Job you're doing. Thank you so much.

That turquoise fabric is just gorgeous. It really does look like a piece of the stone itself! Great pick. Oh, and I'm tickled to see my block in your photo.

Silent Heroes...

This is such a loving thread, I wanted to give special kudos to Joe and Mrs. Joe for sending blocks in spite of dealing with a flooded house.
And to Rodney, who had no idea how much work he was biting off Rodney is fighting cancer, I know because he uplifted me a few times when I was fighting too...

I'll bet if the truth were known all of us are struggling with something or the other. Having a project like this which is all good all day all the way around, makes life better for every one of us.

Thanks to you all, Sharyn

I mailed some blocks. You should receive them Tuesday. Such a warm, fuzzy feeling. Have a great day to all!
