I wish I could take all the credit for fabric choices, but I tried to match as closely as possible the fabic that the original was made with. Although none was the same fabric, each choice was close to the original photo of the pattern. I will say, it taught me how to select the right fabric. This too is a learning experience and yes - it is addictive. I was always careful not to buy too much fabric when I was sewing all of my clothes, but quilting is a whole different animal! Now I know what a stash is, and I am liking it.

I'm at the mouse-house, wrangling with my dial up and pictures load so slowly, but at first peek of your quilt, I was already going, "Wow!"
Truly, it's a great quilt if it was somebody's 100th! :thumbup:
