I think this quilt and you are meant to be together. Have been following along with interest. Funny how things evolve. Gorgeous quilt.

What a pretty quilt! You did a good job creating the pattern. It looks exactly the same. How did you get so lucky to see that on EBay or did they the seller let you know it was on there?

He had actually posted on his thread that he had it on ebay. Do you know how many quilts are listed on ebay? Of course I didn't see his posting until the middle of the night when I wasn't able to get ahold of him as to how he listed it, so I spent what was left of the night hunting for it - but I found it and I made an offer and he called me at 6 am to let me know he accepted. I am afraid I was grumpy sounding since I had only been asleep for alittle over a hour.

Answer to how many quilt listing there are on ebay - last night the count was over 164,000.

What a wonderful story and what a great quilt. Of all people who could have bought this quilt, you were destined to be the caretaker of it and who better. I am so happy for you that you got it.
