Dictionary for terms used on QB
Guess I'm on a roll. As soon as I posted my last thread I got messages about "tags" and "BB" something. I really like a lot of things about this new format, but I'd like it a lot better if I knew what the terms mean. Is there a place where all the shortcuts are explained (like a "QB for dummies")? On every page I run into new terms (to me) and have no clue.
"Through my control panel only"??????? "BB code"????? OH! I see that jpe is a valid file extension!!! Well, my computer doesn't know that and I don't know how to tell it that it's OK to print it.

Lots of help can be found here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/resourc...ideos-230.html
I usually have two windows open so I can go from the Help page and then back to the window that I am working with.

In Internet Explorer 7 or 8, if you right click on a link or on the page you want to go to, the second item in the list says "open in a new tab" -- that opens a new tab across the top and dyou can go back to where you were by just clicking an older tab. I usually have several tabs open with different pages.
Sticky means it will stay at the top of the forum -- it will keep important items easy to find.

I just tried the link and I saw what you were talking about. Couldn't read it at first, but waited just a bit and the whole page loaded with the white background. May take a while, for sure if you are on dial up.
